Some pictures from April 12
I'm running behind posting material, of course. These are from April 12.
Here's:
- Sushi the cat blurrily blending into the floor (wouldn't hold still).
- Peas just coming up
- Progress on digging sod
- These are cucumbers and lettuce (getting all spindly because of lack of sun. The windows get a LOT of sun, but only if it comes out from behind the dark gloomy clouds).

Starting Seeds part 1
I'm sort of moved into my new house. So, time to start planting seeds:
I used two different seed starting mixes: one from Walmart, and Ferry Morse "Quick n' Easy" from Lowes.
Dampened mix; left the last row of each seedling flat open for easier watering.
Flat 1:
Broccoli DeCicco 4 rows
Lettuce Tom Thumb 3 rows
Lettuce Sweet Valentine 3 rows
Cucumber Space Master 1 row
Flat 2:
Tomato Sweet 100 2 rows
Tomato Amish Paste 2 rows
Marigold French Taskent 3 rows
Marigold Chameleon 3 rows
Basil 1 row
